A summary of our latest e-mail from America World regarding Ethiopians Adoption:

An investigation has been mandated by the Ethiopian government that safeguards the well-being of the children - for which we are very thankful. There has been a noticeable increase in the number of orphans in the main city of Addis Ababa and the government just wants to make sure that the children who are being brought to the orphanages are indeed orphaned. As a result of this investigation, there is going to be a slow-down in the court process and most likely referrals until the investigation is complete. America World assures us that they do not have any concerns about the children that they have referred, however our agency must wait with the rest of the agencies when it comes to completing the adoptions of these children.
