Referral Acceptance is in the mail

We've signed the required documents, made photocopies, and wrote the check - we have officially accepted our referral! This still does not seem real to me! I just can't stop smiling and kissing her pictures! In the earliest picture that we have of her, she is smiling (I know, some people say that babies this young don't smile but I'm telling you, this kid is smiling. It's like she's saying, "Look, Mommy, I'm finally ready to come home. I'm waiting so come get me!" ). I can't wait for her hair to start growing back and see what it's going to look like. I told Jason today that I want to bath her, lotion her up, and kiss her all over - he just laughed but he'll be right there with me joining in!

After court this morning, I met Jason and we went shopping for items for her care package. He picked-out some onesies and I picked out a darling lime green outfit. We're not sure which size to send, so the onesies are newborn and the lime green outfit is 0-3 months. We're hoping that once the next travel group is set for our agency, that we will be able to mail our ziploc bag of goodies to a family who can deliver it for us and take pics. I would love to see the outfits on her so we can get a better idea of her size.

Many of you have asked when we are going to bring her home. The answer is, we don't know yet. Right now, we have to wait and see when our court date is scheduled and then we will receive notification of our tentative travel dates. Please be in prayer so that we can get a fast court date and that everything will be in order and all the necessary people will attend court on that day so our case can be approved. Once our case successfully passes through court, then we hope to travel 2-4 weeks later. I would love to travel sometime in August, but we'll just have to wait and see what God has planned!
