Hi, just wanted to say I'm glad to have found your blog and would love to swap links. We are searching for our daughter(S) in Ethiopia also.
We love and miss Mrs Debbie. Praise God - we will see her again! Thanks be to Jesus our Savior for our salvation.
Love, friends from Belle Aire Baptist
Sorry to hear about your mom. I am glad she's with Jesus! I will pray for you. No matter how old we are, it's still difficult to be without your mom. I miss mine very much and it's been twelve years! We will all be together again some day!! Praying for your dad for comfort too.

I just wanted you to know how sorry I am about your mom. I can't imagine how much you miss her. May God give you strength in the days ahead.

Dear Erica,
I didn't know your father or sister like I know you,and I thank God I met you through your mom. I just don't know what to say, however, I am so sorry, I feel lost right now and I can't imagine how you and your family feel. I lost my father kinda like you lost your mother, however, my father was 82 years old and our Debbie was a lot younger, I pulled her picture from your blog and made her my screen saver, she is beautiful. I feel good knowing you because I still have a part of her her because you have the personality and looks like your mom. I am just a phone call away anytime you need to call me or need me please fill free to call. I will be in prayer for you, your father, sister, husband, and especially little Aston, who Debbie loved dearly, because you all were and still is a family of love.
Love always,

Erica,
I don't know if you will remember me. Your parents took me in when I was in my late teens (early twenties) to live with you and your family in Long Beach, MS. You were probably about the age of my children now.
I want to let you know that your parents had a great impact on my life. They were and continue to be the best examples of what it means to love the Lord that I have had in my life. I thank them very much for that.
While you lived in Long Beach, Mr. Jim would take me to lunch at the Waffle House for my birthday.
I can still here your mother's voice and her laughter. I want you to know that I love them with all my heart and I am very sorry for your loss. I will continue to pray for all of you. God Bless You all.
With Love

Erica,
Wow! Smiling to the end. Mrs. Debbie is/was an incredible woman. She will greatly be missed, however, her legacy will continue.
