Some of you are asking about our timeline, so since I'm up, now would be a good time to share it!
Saturday (Today):
- Visit Julianna Ashure's grave
- Shopping for a dress for Maura and for Hannah Carpenter, her soon-to-be Ethiopian playmate in Tennessee
- Sieg Family arrives, so get acquainted with them
Sunday:
- If possible, we want to worship at a local church. Their services tend to be hours in length, so this may not be possible as we have an appointment that afternoon with an orphanage.
- Visit Kingdom Vision International Orphanage in Addis - this is where Maura lived from 4/20/09 - 07/11/09
- Goodgame family arrives, so get acquainted with them
Monday:
- Paperwork party at the Hilton Hotel. This is where we meet as a group and fill-out paperwork that will be necessary for our Embassy appointment later in the week.
- Lunch at the Zebra Grill
- Meet our daugther!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - MEETCHA DAY
- Play with our baby girl and then she spends her last night ever away from her family!
- Enjoy a traditional Ethiopian meal and dancing (They will dance, we will watch - we are not blessed with rhythm!)
Tuesday:
- Deliver care packages for families whose children are still at the transitional home with Maura
- Take Maura home forever! - GOTCHA DAY / FOREVER FAMILY DAY
Wednesday:
- Embassy appointment
Thursday:
- Happy Thanksgiving back in the US!
- We have an option of visiting 2 orphanages, but we haven't decided yet if we are going to go. It will all depend on how Maura is feeling and reacting to us.
- Lunch as a group
- Shopping
Friday:
- Pick-up Maura's visa
- Pack our clothes
- Last minute shopping
- Leave for the airport
Saturday:
- Most of the day will be spent in the air
- We arrive back in Nashville at 4:30 p.m. CST
- HOME!!!!!!!!!!

We are thinking about you and praying that God grants health and travel mercies as you go through the rest of the week. We are so excited for you and know that God is preparing Maura's heart to meet her mom and dad. All our love!
